新型コロナウイルス（COVID-19）の感染が拡大している中、新聞やニュースで手術について延期や中止 など様々な報道がされています。松脇クリニック品川で手術中に使用する医療器材はすべて滅菌しており、手術や麻酔によって患者さまに新型コロナウイルスが感染する危険はありませんのでご安心ください。今、問題になっているのは、患者さんが感染に気付かないまま手術を受けられた場合、全身麻酔や手術によりウイルスが医療従事者に感染し、院内感染が発生することです。また、患者さんが新型コロナウイルスに感染している状態で手術を受けた場合は、手術の負担が重なり病状が悪化する可能性があります。手術を受けるか延期するかは、地域の感染状況や手術内容、病気の状態により異なります。現時点での東京はハイリスク地域（新型コロナウイルス患者が10名以上）に該当し、待機手術（炎症性、良性腫瘍など）は延期を推奨されています（鼻科手術の対応ガイド，2020年4月6日版）。しかしながら、保存的治療では患者の生命の危険や後遺症障害が生じる場合（緊急手術や準緊急手術）、やむを得ず社会的な要因から早期に手術を希望される場合など、慎重に個別判断を行った上で手術適応を決めております。主治医に良くご相談していただきますようお願いいたします。また、手術前には通常の術前検査に加えて、手術直前に胸部CT検査、血液検査、COVID-19 PCR検査等を施行し、新型コロナウイルス感染がないことを確認させていただいております。
当院では感染対策を徹底するとともに、手術を受けられる患者さまにもご協力いただき、患者さんにとっても、医療従事者にとっても安全で安心な手術がでるよう取り組んで参ります。つきましては、手術を受けられる患者さまにおかれましては、手術まで期間は以下のことにご留意いただき、ご協力いただけますようお願いいたします。

１．入院の4週間前から不要不急の外出は避けてください。
２．手洗い・うがいをこまめに行い、外出する際にはマスクをして、密閉・密集・密接
の環境を避けてください。
３．入院までの2週間は、できるだけ毎日、朝体温を測定してください。
４．手術直前に胸部CT検査、血液検査、COVID-19 PCR検査等を施行します。
５．入院される日に検温表と問診票に記入してご持参ください。
入院前に発熱やせき、咽頭痛、体のだるさ、においや味の低下（新たな）などの症状があれば、事前にクリニック（Tel: 03-6721-6870）に連絡ください。

To patients who will undergo surgery
While the infection with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) is expanding, various reports such as newspapers and TV news have been reported postponing or discontinuing surgery. Please be assured that all medical equipment used during surgery at Matsuwaki Clinic, Shinagawa is sterilized and there is no risk of new coronavirus infecting patients due to surgery or anesthesia. The problem now is that if a patient undergoes surgery without noticing the COVID-19 infection, the virus will infect medical personnel due to general anesthesia or surgery, resulting in nosocomial infection. In addition, if a patient undergoes surgery while infected with the new coronavirus, the burden of surgery may increase, and the medical condition may worsen. Whether to undergo surgery or postponement depends on the local infection status, surgery content, and illness. Tokyo is currently in a high-risk area (more than 10 COVID-19 patients), and postponement of elective surgery (inflammation, benign tumors, etc.) is recommended (Nose surgery guide, April 6th, 2020 version). However, individual judgments were carefully made, such as when the patient’s life risk or sequelae occurs in conservative treatment, or when surgery is unavoidably required for early time due to social factors. We have decided the indication for surgery above. Please consult your doctor carefully. Before surgery, in addition to the usual preoperative examination, we perform a chest CT test, blood test, and COVID-19 PCR test immediately before surgery to confirm that there is no COVID-19 infection.
In addition to thorough infection control, we will work with patients who can undergo surgery to ensure safe and secure surgery for both patients and healthcare professionals. Therefore, for patients who can undergo surgery, please note the following points before the surgery and cooperate with us.
-Notes and Requests-
1. Please avoid going out unnecessary or urgently from 4 weeks before hospitalization and surgery.
2. Please wash your hands and gargle frequently and wear a mask when you go out to avoid the “Three Cs”, such as, Closed spaces, Crowded places, Close-contact settings.
3. For the 2 weeks prior to admission, measure your body temperature every day as much as possible.
4. Immediately before surgery, a chest CT test, blood test, and COVID-19 PCR test will be performed.
5. On the day you are hospitalized, please fill in the thermometry table and the questionnaire and bring it.
